Ayush Mittal beat Vansh in the final of 2020 Handicap Snooker Tournament organized by Lucknow Cue Sports Association at The Green Baize 4-1. In the 4 frames he won Ayush hit 2 breaks of 65 in the second frame and 80 in the fourth frame.

As all of you know this has been a bad year and we were not able to hold our three handicap tournaments that we hold every year. But before 2020 ended we felt at least one of the three should be held. Please note that all the Covid precautions MUST be taken. No player can be accompanied by a supporter/friend for their match, social distancing when in the parlor MUST be maintained, ball set and the tables will be sanitized before each match, hands must be sanitized before entering the club. Dr. Kaukab Quder Sajjad Ali Meerza, the last surviving Great Grandson of Wajid Ali Shah and Begum Hazrat Mahal, died at Peerless Hospital, Calcutta, at 1625 hours on this Sunday, 13th September 2020.
Also known as Dr. M. Kaukub, he used to be a popular figure in the Billiards & Snooker fraternity for a long time. He was the Founder-Secretary of The Billiards & Snooker Federation of India, The West Bengal Billiards Association, and also The Uttar Pradesh Billiards & Snooker Association.
In the Lucknow Nationals in 2014, he was honoured by the UPBSA for his lifetime services to the games of Billiards & Snooker.
Ajay Rastogi No More

I am sadden to inform you all that India’s top-ranked Billiards and Snooker Referee, Ajay Rastogi, has passed away today. He was exposed to Covid-19 a couple of days back and was on a ventilator since today morning. Later in the afternoon, he lost the battle and took his last breath in the Somaiya Hospital, Mumbai.
Born and raised in U.P., Ajay , aged 58 was working with Indian Railways and had a significant role in nurturing new Referees from time to time. He trained many referees, who are refereeing in India and at the international level championships.
He was my good friend, Will miss you jighar .
